README

# NetMind Provider for OpenClaw

External code provider plugin with API-key authentication and a bundled NetMind
model catalog. The production base URL is
`https://api.netmind.ai/inference-api/v1`; the default model is
`Qwen/Qwen3.8-Flash`. The catalog currently contains 31 models.

## Build and install locally

Requires Node 24.16+ within Node 24, or Node 26.1+, and an OpenClaw host exposing
the 2026.9.6 provider SDK. Node 25 is not supported by that host release.
The peer version is pinned to the source version used for the integration;
compatibility with other releases must be tested before broadening it.

```sh
npm test
npm pack
openclaw plugins install npm-pack:/absolute/path/netmind-openclaw-provider-0.1.0.tgz
openclaw plugins inspect netmind --runtime --json
openclaw models auth login --provider netmind --set-default
```

After reviewing the local-source warning and the NetMind provider capability,
repeat installation with `--force --accept-capabilities` when requested.

Alternatively, provide `NETMIND_API_KEY` to the OpenClaw process. API keys are
handled by the host; no keys belong in the package or model manifest.

The plugin uses the host's OpenAI-completions transport and only declares NetMind
provider/auth/catalog behavior. Inference sends prompts, supplied context, and
tool definitions to `api.netmind.ai`. Model availability and prices can change.

## ClawHub publication

Source repository: https://github.com/NetMind-AI/netmind-openclaw-provider

Run the built-entry integration tests against a host checkout with dependencies:

```sh
OPENCLAW_SOURCE_ROOT=/path/to/openclaw npm run test:host
```

This package is prepared for external distribution but is not yet published.
GitHub ownership does not grant a ClawHub namespace. Choose a ClawHub publisher
namespace you control; `PUBLISHER` below remains a placeholder until verified.

```sh
npm test
npm pack
clawhub login
clawhub package publish ./netmind-openclaw-provider-0.1.0.tgz \
  --owner PUBLISHER --source-repo NetMind-AI/netmind-openclaw-provider \
  --source-commit FULL_COMMIT_SHA --dry-run
clawhub package publish ./netmind-openclaw-provider-0.1.0.tgz \
  --owner PUBLISHER --source-repo NetMind-AI/netmind-openclaw-provider \
  --source-commit FULL_COMMIT_SHA --wait
```

Use the reviewed, pushed source commit as `FULL_COMMIT_SHA`. Publish the built
tarball, not an unbuilt GitHub snapshot: the runtime entry must include `dist/`.

After publication, users install the assigned package:

```sh
openclaw plugins install clawhub:PACKAGE_NAME_FROM_PUBLISH_RESULT
```

Use `package publish`, not the skill publishing command. Complete a tarball
installation and authenticated streaming/tool-call smoke test before release.
The local package test does not establish that a live API request succeeds.

## Catalog maintenance

Keep this repository under `netmind-provider-upstreams`, beside the upstream
checkouts. From `netmind-agent-provider-integrations` run:

```sh
make generate
python3 scripts/sync_upstreams.py --runtime openclaw
```

Then rebuild, validate against the supported host, increment the plugin version,
and publish an update. See NOTICE.md for pricing and artwork sources.
