# Clone Status
External OpenClaw **tool plugin**. It is not part of the OpenClaw core tree.
One required tool, `clone_status`, reports:
- loopback listen address for `OPENCLAW_GATEWAY_PORT` (`127.0.0.1:<port>` or `ECONNREFUSED …`)
- `homeOpenclaw`: `present` / `absent` for `$HOME/.openclaw`
- `telegramToken`: `present` / `absent` for `$OPENCLAW_STATE_DIR/credentials/telegram-bot.token`
It never reads token contents and never imports OpenClaw `src/**`.
## Build
Needs a local OpenClaw CLI on `PATH` (or invoke `node <openclaw-checkout>/openclaw.mjs`).

```
## Install
From an OpenClaw checkout, against isolated state:
```bash
openclaw plugins install --link --force --accept-capabilities .
openclaw plugins inspect clone-status --runtime --json
```
Restart an unmanaged Gateway after install. Do not publish to ClawHub until you would install this package a second time.
